Default 2 Inch Lift - Noise over bumps

I've got the 2 inch FT lift, M-Force shocks, and the front FT Adjustable track bar - all else is stock. Overall - lift is perfect for my needs and it actually drives (much) better than stock.

BUT after a couple weeks, I have a deep 'squeak' coming from (I believe) the front when going over bumps... Drives fine, and I've been underneath and everything looks good - no noise when phsyically pushing down on the suspension.

Anyone else experience this? Could it be the bushing or spherical joint on the adjustable track bar? Thanks!

I've read other posts about the FT track bar squeaking do a search and you will find it as well as the remedy for it. Good Luck I am sure it is annoying as hell.

Its the bushing/sleeve. You have to take it off and grease it. I have the same issue. I thought I read where someone put a zerk fitting on theirs so they wouldn't have to drop that side just to grease it. I would imagine that you would have to drill all the way down through the sleeve to do it.

Should have done a better search before posting - looks like it's already covered on this post:

White Lithium Grease every few thousand miles - sounds easy enough.

Thanks!

Actually, if you install it right and apply white lithium grease upon assembly of the bushings (see step #2 on my writeup below), you shouldn't have any squeaking for a very long time. I have over 11,000 miles on my track bars and they still don't squeak.

Actually WOL, i had greased on install inside and out, and alos took the bushingout 2 different times to re grease and the noise kept coming back.
So i added the grease zerk to the TB back in July and have not had a aqueak again. I am very happy with my mod and would do it again and recommend it to anyone.

Yeah, I've seen your nice write-up and I'm glad that it fixed your problem but in all honesty, I have yet to have a problem with mine in all the miles that I've put on mine nor has Rubimon, Puddlz, CLACKEY(_!_) any of the other guys I know who run this setup and installed their track bar this way. Granted, when it does come time to re-grease my track bar (because everything eventually needs greasing), I will definitely do what you did
