How's your OEM clutch lasting?
Calling all JK 6-speed owners! Well as the title suggests how is your OEM clutch lasting, specifically the items of the clutch kit themselves such friction plates/throwout bearings, pressure plates, etc? There is also a known issue with the slave cylinder failing prematurely but I'd like to keep that issue seperate for now.
Details such as model year, mileage, and diff ratio (ie: 3.21, 3.73, 4.10, or another non-stock ratio fitted as a mod) would be really helpful in your comments. Looking forward to hearing from you all.

i'm almost at 52,000 and no real issues. i had the clunk back when i got it but i don't know if that has stopped or if i just don't notice anymore. i also get a creak throughout the travel of the clutch pedal once things warm up, but it doesn't seem to be a problem at the moment and i think even that is either intermittent, gone, or i just don't notice anymore

Well I decided to vote. Problems less than 50k miles, no clutch replacement and not even sure if that counts in the vote.
I had a new slave cylinder put in last year, and i creaks like mad when it's warm, due to mud according to the dealer. It's also hard to shift into second a lot of the time, or it just "catches or grinds" lightly a lot of the time. Never had the whole clutch replaced. Warranty ends at 12k miles for that one, otherwise I would have had it looked at closer.

I decided to vote no issues since I've had no problems with the clutch that were not self inflicted. Replaced the origional clutch at about 16K due to sucking mud into it while off roading, have over 50K on OE replacement clutch without any problems. I have had the slave cylinder issues, replaced the slave cylinder at the same time I replaced the origional clutch and again at about 44K miles. Currently have 67k miles on the Jeep.

Down to the rivets and never felt it
New pressure plate, friction plate, and throwout bearing. Had it for 6 mths (since June), and the wife learned on it, but I don't think that she toasted it. It was a lease return, and must have been abused
If I get around to it, I could snap some pics. I kept the damn thing! All told it was over $500 extra... but that is a whole other story!

Very informative comments; keep them coming!
For those who have replaced their clutch and paid for it (ie; not warranty work), how much did you pay for the OEM or aftermarket clutch kit?

Changed mine at 85K miles. It would shudder reversing up a ramp or starting off with a trailer, probably could have got another 5 or 10k out of it. Put in a dual force clutch from Northridge. I think it was around $360 and another 350 for the labor. The mechanic was impressed with the new clutch, said it looked pretty stout.
it's an 07 rubicon with 4.10
