Looks great . Mine wouldn't have looked so tiny had I not trimmed the fenders. My 4" RC had sagged from the extra weight and would rub the fenders to a point it felt like the fenders might get ripped out - so did the fender mod. Now, with the TF, it looks like I could stuff some 40s in there .

Thanks. Those are CIPA CJ style mirrors that I bought on Amazon - $12.95 each with free shipping and now I don't have to worry about doors on or off. Good visibility both ways, and if I break something, it's only $12.95 to fix vs. over $70 for stock ones. Here are some close ups:

I am getting ready to trade in my 2 door for a four door and in the process of moving my mirrors back to the door I broke them. The driver's side I broke the housing (internal mounting locations that fixed up great with epoxy) and the passenger side I somehow broke the glass. For the passenger side I bought a replacement from RockAuto for $26.

It looks like these mirrors might still be useable with the Bestop two piece soft doors. The passenger one is barely visible using the Rugged Ridge relocation brackets. Looking at Amazon I don't see any with the bracket you are using (and am not finding similar brackets. Yours don't look home made, where did you find them?

How are they on the highway?

(sorry for hi-jacking the thread!)

Here's the ones I got.

Passenger Side:
hxxp://www.amazon.com/CIPA-44801-Wrangler-Replacement-Passenger/dp/B000TDQG6K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1298234049&sr= 1-1

Driver Side:
hxxp://www.amazon.com/CIPA-44800-Wrangler-Manual-Replacement/dp/B000TDV3JK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1298234139&sr= 8-1

They have some vibrations and whistling (that you hear when the windows are down), but it's acceptable to me. Working on a fix for both.

I love the CJ mirrors they look fricking awesome. Do they bounce around a lot when you are driving? Thats what my mirrors do when I'm driving the CJ when you look at them it feels like you are on Acid.

They're not as steady and stable as the factory mirrors, but its not too bad. Depends on the roads you're on - rougher roads tend to make it shake more than smoother ones, but I just like the fact that I have them on there and don't have to worry about whether the doors are on or off.
