I don't plan on doing any snow camping this year, but feel free to throw me into any future 4 wheeling dreams. Oh, wait, that might sound bad!
Maybe we can drive up Everest?

I have never done any snow camping, but do plan on playing in the snow up at Bald Mountain in the Sierra Nevadas this winter.

Well I hope one of those guys was Dizzyliz

There are lots of places to play up in my neck of the woods.
After a good dump we usually see how far out past China wall we can go (The road goes all the way to Soda Springs)
When you get back, we will have to make a day trip of it
...I'll let you have all the fun snow camping...

Well, the short version of the story...

M and couple of friends decided to do some 3 days snow camping/wheelin some where near Sugar Bowl. The vehicle battery exploded during the 2nd day, and then we ditche dmy WJ and headed out to Truckee and try to find a replacement battery. By the time we drove back, it has started to have heavy snow fall and we were forced to set up camp, and wait till the morning then figure out how to get back to my rig. Well that night, I had to share 4 person tent with me as the 5th person in it...so go figure..4 person tent with 5 stinky guys...

Then the next morning the trail was covered in deep fresh snow which prevented our rigs to go any further. So we decided to pack up the camping gear and me carrying my own heavy car battery and hike back to my rig...

After the rig is back onto its own power, we had to continuously use Pull-Pal, Hi-lift, & trees to get my rig back to where everyone's rigs are at....

I think the recovery part of the trip was okay, that's the price we have to pay for doing what we love to do... but cuddle up with 5 guys in a 4 person tent.... passing gases to keep ourselves warm... stinky feet... you get the picture..
