It would cost me well over 500 to drive my jeep out there from Wisconsin. Plus the wear and tear on it and a girlfriend who would want to stop every2 hours to take a break.

Within a 3 Hour Drive From Las Vegas

Drive to Black Diamond and see the Red Rocks
Lost City of Overton thur The Valley of Fire
Hoover Dam is a 45 minute drive from Vegas
Grand Canyon is 3 hours from Vegas
Zion National Park 2.5 hour drive from Las Vegas
Old mining town of Oatman Just a couple of hours away from Vegas
Laughlin, Nevada is about a 1 1/3 hour drive southeast of the Vegas "Strip".
Zion: 3 hours from Vegas, but well worth the drive

if ur renting a jeep i would recommend for a nice little 3or 4 hr drive go to RedRock canyon and drive rocky gap rode for abit. nice scenery not alot of people, theres water back there, bighorn sheep and a variety of desert landscape..got longer deathvalley at that time of year can be very beautiful and theres lots of places along the way to sight see..really any direction u go there is something.

I am heading to Vegas for a few days early May. Going to the SuperCross.
What moderate off-road trails do you recommend?
