Just got mine Friday but I've been scouring the forum for weeks. I live around Ft Apache and Wigwam so I've been trying to build my confidence all weekend in the hills and trails just north of me.

I've got a stock 2012 Sport S w/ steps, 3.73 and Traclock. Probably won't have cash for a while to lift, get tires or skids but sounds like a strap and CB should be mandatory if I want to wheel with some others?

It's Deep Cherry and currently soft top with temp tags if anyone sees me out there. I've been active on a Harley Sportster forum (vegas1200c if anyone is on xlforum.com) for many years so it is fun being the new guy for a change.

I live just around the corner from you in Mountains Edge. My 2011 is Deep Cherry Red also.

If you are interested, I would recommend checking out Nevada Backroaders. Its a great club, and their club runs are stock friendly.

Also, there is a monthly meeting at Chapman Jeep at 6:30 pm Apr 12th, its the Desert Wranglers, which is a Meetup group.

Maybe we'll see each other around.

Thanks for the welcomes. I saw the web page for the group meeting at Chapman. Looks fun. I will try to hook up with them for a run but I work late Thurs so their meetings are out. The other group looks great too.
