I will be making this drive during one leg of my southwestern road trip in February...I am curious how long it took you to make the drive to PHX at the posted MPH??

Also, any JK get -togethers in the Vegas area in February?

You drove out here and didnt even Check in with us locals? Anyway next time you are out this way give us a look (Phoenixs JK's Group) would love for you to go wheelin with us. My average MPG was right around 17. Not too bad and a hell of a lot better than my prerunner truck!

 

From Peoria, AZ (NW side of PHX) to the SW side of Vegas was about 5hrs with a quick pit stop for lunch. Granted, posted limit on my speedo is about 4-5 mph faster. I was being passed the whole way. I wasn't in any hurry though.

I wanted to do a run while I was there, but with the holiday and family and all, just didn't have the extra time. Got in late Wed night, I made the turkey and butternut squash soup on Thursday, we had other family come visit Friday, and I rolled out by 10 am Saturday morning.

I'll be making another trip down there in the spring I hope. This time will be just to visit and do a day of AZ wheeling.

 

Man next time you go Chris let me know. I've been wheeling all around the Phoenix area and know some awesome trails! I consider it my hometown.
