Potato Ridge... Sunday 07/19
When I first put the lift on my sway actually flipped and I couldn't turn at all. I had to jack up each side individually to get the sway reconnected. If I was going to take the time to unhook one side I would just throw on the JKS disco's who knows maybe I will find the time tomorrow after work.
I just bought the JKS Quick discos Thats not what he is running is it. You Actually remove the whole sway bar link. I have seen the ones that has apiece that slides in and out. They look like they would be a total Pain. If he is running the JKS, I will return them on Monday. I wanted something that was going to be some what easy.
I have the ones that came with the FT lift. From every thing I have read the jks are the best/easist barring the TF sway bar system that is way more but way easier. If you need help wrenching on the jks to get them on before the run either tomorrow night or sunday AM give me a ring. If we have not exchanged #'s pm me.
Tomorrow is the day.
Lets all try to be good little boy/girl scouts. Be prepared. I have tow strap, fire extinguishers, first aid kit, hi lift, water, food, and a few tools. I do not have CB or proper tow points yet(I'm always alone). Try to bring a little extra just in case someone forgets something(probably me). I don't foresee any issues but ya never know.
I think this will be a fun first run for the group, and hope it is only the beginning.
Oh yea cameras and video cameras.
