Randy climbing an insane rock!

Of course when you take everyone elses picture you end up last. Here I am to tackle the rock garden alone!

After the rock garden this portion of the trail was washed out:

Ran into snow in a shaded section before the summit:

Once on top the weather was very nice!

New and Old

What's a run to Potato Ridge without a shot from the summit:

Here's the old Blazer that's been up there for a while:

Vandals have busted in the windshield with rocks:

Target practice:

Even from the summit down to Red Rock has some pretty washed out and rutted sections that are new from before such as this:

I just upload them to my personal photobucket account and it gives you the links without having to open the whole photo. You just browse your mouse over the pic and the link appears and it actually copies it for you so all you have to do is paste it in a thread here.
There haven't been many recent posts here, so perhaps this will stir some new interest. First up is a video of a trail I've named "Drop-Off". The trail starts exactly 5 miles west of the Lovell Canyon turnoff on Nevada highway 160. Highway 160 goes from LV to Pahrump and the Lovell Canyon road is the first turnoff after you pass the Spring Mountain Pass residential area. If you go the wrong way, you end up at Lost Cabin Springs... take the right turn on US Forest Service road 539 to get into the wash that tops the ridge and drops back to the group campground in Lovell Canyon...
