Me too, Cards/Rams game Sunday . Where is Angel Peak?

Jeeps in the shop getting repaired from when I was hit. Could have it back Friday, but more likely Monday.

 

Angel peak is up by mt charleston

 

If you can see Mt. Charleston, if you look about 4 peaks to the right and you'll see a golf ball sitting on it. That's Angel's Peak.

 

Ha that's a better explanation. Its a pretty mild trail with some steep grades and some loose soil. I think it takes about four hours to complete. There is a radar station and a correctional facility at the top and a really nice football field.

 

There are also some old mines up there. Plus depending on how you come down a few rock arches.

There is a small group of us going up to Wheeler's Pass Sunday 2-16-14. Your more than welcome to join along. Right now there are 4 of us, coming from Henderson, Mountains Edge, Summerlin, and Centennial Hills. Let me know if anyone is interested and I will post the meet up info.

 

I joined the Vegas Valley 4 Wheelers over a year ago and there is always someone organizing a group run. One thing the club always says is "You should never wheel alone, you never know if something could happen and you need help".
