Anyone have a good spot to view the fireworks on new years? That's if they do it with all this wind?!:/ I have a place in mind but I was just seein of anything else was out there?

 

i work next to/under the stratosphere. the fireworks look cool from under the strat.

 

I know this place by the M. Im gonna cruise up there. It's like a microwave tower or something. Amazing view of the strip and Henderson.

 

exit I-15 and st. rose, go left. right on las vegas blvd. (m hotel). go south about 1.5 to 2 miles, turn left on a dirt road (should be some trucks and stuff in the area). go down the dirt road to the electric power station (or whatever it is. you can't miss it). pass it to the right and keep on the dirt road. go around the first mountain (right side of the road). take your first right turn pass the mountain. go in the cove like area and about half way in you can go up the mountain you just passed. great view of the vegas! i go shooting in the cove area all the time. sorry i don't know how to post google map. google the area, you can't miss up.

 

The fireworks will be in the bedroom!

Ended up at that tower by the M. We were the only one up there and had a perfect view of the entire strip. Hope the bedroom fireworks were just as good!

 

There's a great view of the strip from the mountains west of 215 curve in the SW side of town. We've gone up there for '09 and '10.
