Default Vegas Help Needed! Driveshaft install.

Hows this for irony...

I was headed up to Vegas from Kingman and rolled up on the security checkpoint, And my Jeep is making TONS of noise and vibrations.

So, I crawled under the Jeep to investigate and noticed that my stock front shaft has disintegrated at the transfercase!

Good thing i have a brand new JE REEL in the back!

My only problem is that i need some serious help installing it. I have some massive skidplates underneath that need to be removed in order to get to it...

As of right now, I am on top of the Dam on the AZ side getting ready to remove the U-Joint from the Differential.

I need HELP! Anyone with tools and patience in the Vegas area willing to help me, It would be greatly appreciated!

Oh, And all the 's are on me afterward!

Call anytime. I will be staying with a girlfriend in Vegas this weekend.

Adam

Talked to Adam, said he is on the road in 2wd. He may take me up in the morning to swing by the BMW dealership and get some help installing that driveshaft tomorrow morning.

It's the front that was messed up...

I disconnected it from the differential and all is good in 2wd.

Thanks for the fast response Mike! I'll call you in the morning!

No problem, probably end up doing it in the parking lot. (liability/insurance in the shop) But I imagine it to not take very long at all. I'll bring my co2 bottle so we have air and can run any of my air tools. I have my craftsman standard socket set (every tool at my job is metric). Have some loctite if you want to loctite the driveshaft bolts. Cordless dewalt 1/2" impact. Floor jacks, jack stands. Anything else you think you need? I'm thinkin 15 min job? I'll have to see what your skids look like!

Okay, I'll see what I can come up with. Any ETA when you think you'd like to swing by? I have to talk to my service manager.
