Is anybody going out somewhere local this weekend?

I just got here this week and we're looking for a fairly easy day-trip.
(Read: Something chill that the wife and kid would enjoy)

couple peepz are rolling to devils peak sunday. Nice run, just not easy.

The entrance sticks you a couple inches (maybe) from a rock wall and the side of your jeep. Good control of the vehicle and where it's at is a must. We have had a fellow member flop his rig while not paying attention on that trial (ahem! justin?).

It's an decent trail if you've played on the rocks a few times. I did have some high centering issues a couple times when i went through on my 32s. awhile back.

 

Yeah, I'm an East Coast boy... so, the rocks are new to me.

I may save that one for later.

Hmmm... maybe that's why nobody has replied to my earlier post!

I think I might be in for the Devil's Peak run tomorrow, but I was looking for some local advice first:

Will I be okay in an Unlimited Rubi with 3" lift (but stock 32s)?

I don't have a winch or anything. Does somebody have all of the standard recovery gear?
