Question Looking for a way to lock my hood

Guys,

What have you got that works as a way to lock your hood? I've had a couple of times in which 'courious' individuals are just looking under there... This happened at the building that I work at, so I don't really think they were trying to steal something, but anyways... let's try to keep honest people honest....

I've heard that the mopar hood lock is not really any good, and that you can open it kinda easy. Besides, I have the B&M transmission cooler at the left of my radiator, so I don't really know if that will fit...

Any thoughts?

Hans

The MOPAR hood lock is kind of expensive. On initial installation, I discovered it was easily unlocked by using a skinny screwdriver to push the safety catch to one side.
A little piece of sheet metal will cure that. Shouldn't have to do that with the price paid, but now I have a good lock. Material-wise, it is very well made.
It also stops hood float.

So your saying that there have been times when you walk up to your jeep and there are people that you dont know who opened your hood and looking under there? Somebody would get their ass kicked.......it might be me, but they would know i didnt like that shit.....
