Default SEMA 09 Meet-n-Greet

Hey everyone, I'll be heading to vegas for SEMA 2009, will be there from Monday night till thursday noon. Wondering who else is going and if anyone wants to meet up for drinks and some dinner after show hours? My brother and some people from Ford Truck World will be doing something similar, and I want to do a Project-JK Gathering.

I managed to get in this year on their "enthusiast research program." I'm still not sure what it entails. Sounds like they have an agenda for us on Wednesday and then we get to go to the show on our own on Thursday. Anybody else get accepted to their enthusiast research program?

I'd be interested, though if anyone can help out with some badges it'd be very appreciated it! I can be "anyone" for a day lol

I will be there working the KICKER car audio booth, I don't know how much free time I am going to have though.

I will keep up with this thread and see if whatever you guys plan will work with whatever schedule they give me.

I wish I had the opportunity to go. I have always wanted to go to SEMA. What is the enthusiast thing?

I'm not sure what it entails exactly. They're supposed to get us more details in the following weeks. When I applied, they asked questions like do you have a phone capable of uploading photos / videos and which social networking websites and forums do you visit. It sounds like they want us to report on stuff that we find cool at the show in real time. Anyway, I'll probably post to Stay the Trail's feed on Facebook and maybe do a post on the show here if Eddie is ok with it.

I really want to see Baja's LED / HID products in person and take some measurements to make sure they'll fit on my Jeep. Also interested in seeing what rock rails and rear bumper / tire carriers are available. And speaking of Kicker, I'd really like to get some questions answered about their replacement speakers for the Jeep's sound bar.

We do have to pay our own way though. I just hope the experience is worth what I paid for airfare and a hotel. Never been to Vegas before so I'm kinda looking at it like a vacation. In addition to SEMA, I'd like to see the Ballagio fountain and the LED canopy over the city block near downtown.
