Default Loss of power

Had our JK in the Pine Barrens the other weekend. Was in some deep sandy water but we have a snorkel and ever since then there is a noticable loss in power and when I get on it.... it doesnt kick in like it used to. Noticed the tach doesnt rev up as high, almost like the passing gear is no longer.

Any suggestions on what to check out? Opened the Airbox and verified everything was dty.... Engine seems to be idling just fine..... Checked trans fluid, oil and diff and everything is the right color..... Our Jk is a Automatic

Sounds more like a transmission issue. How did you check the fluid?

You might check your transmission fluid - just an idea.

If your fluid is ok, then you might wanna check the codes and see if anything was thrown. If you were hitting water, possibly an electronics or sensor issue.
