Default Will truck bed liner hold up on a bumper?

There is a local guy in my town building bumpers and supplying them bare. I'll be picking up a set as soon as he has them welding together.

I'm thinking about using bare metal Rustoleum primer and then Rustoleum truck bed liner to finish them. Any one have experience doing this and should it hold up fairly well?

Have pictures of how they turned out ??? Did you brush on or spray on??

Thanks .... Dan

I don't know about rattlecan bedliner, but I had my bumper Rhino-Lined when I got it. Six months later, it's holding up great.

Built my bumper put 3M rubberized undercoating on it that stuffs pretty tough got a few dings but it took alot of abuse to get those, just gonna take the bumper off and repaint when I get a chance
I would definatly recommend it

Here's mine bedlined....did it myself...easy to do...just make sure you prep well...I roughed up the surface with some sandpaper....if you can do it before you mount it, that would probably be easier, and no need to tape anything off like I had to.

I used Duplicolor bedliner....bought the roll on kit.....Thus far I only did one coat, but it turned out great...I did all the tight spots with a brush, then rolled the rest with the supplied special roller.....I will do another coat sometime, when I make time...but I have had this on now since the beginning of summer, I know it has held up awesome against trees
