Are you looking to soften up your factory ride, or do you have a lift that you want softer?

I'm running factory shocks with the 2.5 BB love it on the street. Actually rides smoother then my old H2 over bumps and such. But I bet once I go with 35's and take her off road again. They will be to soft. Just going to have to wait and see.

Default thanks

thanks for the help all....

I have Toyo Open country 34's (they are roughly that size) and running spydertrax spacers and all stock suspension.

I just want a supple and more plushlike ride (if thats possible) rather they jaring bumps etc....and when I hit a pot hole it runs right through me. I am ok with some body roll etc.. as I realize one may sacrafice some perf with such a mod. I do not off road the jeep.... and do decent amount of highway driving etc...

I was thinking a 2'budget boost would worsen the ride not make it better as someone here suggested?

I am running tire pressure as recomened on tire...
thanks again

Running lesser rated tires (d vs e) helps... i have the skyjacker 2" bb with the upgraded nitro shocks and it is a much better ride... not sure if these are the softEST but I like how mine has performed

what he said. if you are running what is listed on the toyo sidewalls, you have WAY TOO MUCH air and that is why your ride sucks. you need to be running about 25-28 psi and your ride will be a lot softer.

Default air down

the "suggestion" on the tire is not actualy that it is the max air pressure rating
the real suggested air pressure is from trial and error. or 25 -28 psi because lots of people have done that for you. Thats why the door has a sticker with a rating for people to go by in an unmodified "car" for eg. the tire on the rubi has a max 0f 55 psi but the door call for 37 it makes for a good ride and tire wear the factory figured it out for the general poppulation.
