Default Stock rubi tires on 9.5 inch wide beadlocks

I am looking into purchasing a set of Raceline RT 231 Beadlocks for my Rubi and was wanting to keep the stock tires. The 17" rims are 9.5 inch wide and the specs on the BFG web site recommend a 6.5-8.5 wide rim. Don't know if this combo is going to work or am I looking at purchasing a new set of tires as well that are wider.

The problem is sidewalls are going to be stiffer when you air up and the you run the risk of breaking a tire bead loose when you air down.

I can attest to this, I have the Cepek DC 1's which are 9 inches wide. It's fine one the road but I aired down too far once and blew a bead and ruined the tire. If you do it don't air down below 20-24 psi.

Needless to say once I have my lift on I'm going up to 33's so it will no longer be an issue.
