Did you do anything to stop the rattling? I rattles a lot of bumps and also makes a buzzing noise when the pitch from the stereo speakers is just right..

Default Tape

Put a little bit of electrical tabe around the bar that the glove box latches to. It took care of it for me.

So that is the part that is making the noise? Or could it also be the stuff inside contacting the metal? Thought about felt lining it or putting a towel in there..

try pressing in on the glove box when driving. If that take care of the rattle add the tape. There is play between the latching mechanism and the latch itself which is what caused my rattling.

I don't have one, but tool box liner would probably work better than felt. It stays in place pretty good too.

I have one, and unfortunately live on a cobblestone road and it rattles to hell. I wrapped what I keep in the glove box in a small towel to temporarily fix the problem until I can get it lined.
