i just put an airaid cold air intake on my jk and the check engine light is on now..how do i fix/ reset it????

 

sure you didn't break your little oxygen sensor thing ya plugged in the air raid?

 

i dont think so.. it was a little brittle though....so with that change the check engine light should not have came on .unless it broke??

 

yeah that's correct. at least with my experience(putting 2 of these on my jeeps) i have not had a check engine light come on

 

how about checking the codes to see what is really wrong first

 

good idea,it could just be some sort of coincedence

 

Also check all of the seals, sometimes the screw-on clamps can wiggle their way off of the lip of the intake tube under pressure causing an air leak.

 

check active code(if you do not have a obd 2 reader,there is a link here somewhere on how to check active faults and a code sheet)if it has anything to do with Airaid CAI install ,possible damage to intake air temp sensor swaped from stock intake piping to airaid,I have been running an Airaid intake for over 100,00km with no issues what so ever and very happy with performance increase,really woke the lil mini van engine up
