Default Shock Question for 4 Door JK

Hello, this is my first post on the JK form, I was wanting some feedback to see if you guys can steer me in the right direction in buying some new shocks. I am currently running a 2.5in Rough Country Lift on my 4 door Rubicon with Rough Country Shocks. However All 4 shocks are leaking and are no longer good. I know you may think WOW all 4 but yes all four are no good. They claim that they recieved a bad batch from the factory, and they just sent me replacements for the two rears. I will not say where they were purchased from because it is irrevelent. I have been reading a lot of recommendations on this sight and was just wondering what I should do. I am interested in the Bilstein 5100, that seem like a very good shock to run or, go and spend double the money and buy the Fox Reservoir Shock. I live in Arizona and the climate here is well you know HOT!!! The wheeling here has a lot of articulation so that shocks will take a lot of abuse. I am going to change out the Lift soon however the shocks are a neccisity right now so they need to be changed out first. I am all ears on recomendations but from past post it seems to me that the two shocks that I mentioned were highly recommend.
Driving conditions will be 60% street/highway, 40%Offroad, Thanks for any info. Great website by the way.

I went with Bilsteins as I was looking for a shock that did well on road just as much as offroad. Went on a trail run a week ago where there were tons of rock climbs and they handled great. Glad I went with them.

I've also heard great things about OME shocks but there are various versions of them, some which can get expensive. If you get the ones that run about $100 a piece (retail...exlcuding sponsor discounts) I think you will get a shock similar to the Bilsteins but maybe a tad better off-road (and maybe a tad less on -road).

I got my Bilsteins from a JK sponsor (4wd) at a great price. Give Bryan a call and see what he recommends and what kind of a deal he can get you.

Unless you want to go with a pricey high end performance shock like King or Fox, the Bilsteins are a great choice. OME and TFs are also gvery ood choices.

Search for a past poll thread on shocks.

I like the Rancho 9000's. I have run them on all my rigs. THey never leak, they work and they are adjustable.

Default Rancho 9000

I also like the Rancho 9,000. I had them on my TJ was very pleased with them. I just don't see too many people talking about them and was wondering why? I thought maybe the other shocks were performing (better) and thats why you all were using them. I think I may go with Rancho 9000's again.
