Default Axle Tube Seals

Has anyone installed the superior axle tube seals? If so what are you supposed to do about the inner axle seal that comes out when you pull your shafts out? I recently put the tube seals in and i couldn't get the inner seal back in because my tube seals are blocking them from going in. So right now i'm driving around without the inner seals on, Is that bad? If someone could please help me i would appreciate it.

I have the superior tube seals installed. I'm not sure what inner seal you're talking about. Do you have any pictures? I recently pulled and installed new axles, the only thing that came out was 2 crappy flexi washers

On the front axle, there is no seal that comes out when you pull the shaft out.
There is a guide that keeps the shaft lined up so it is easier to get the shaft to go through the inner seal, the one near the differential.

I have the outer seals - mostly because I have Superior shafts that are odd sized and tend to leak at the inner seals.

I don't see how they could interfere with you putting in new inner seals - just pull the outer ones off and put them back afterwards. If you're not running inners, then I hope your axle was clean! :-)

Here is a picture I think that it's just the guides. Is it bad that they are not in? i would put them back but it's going to be impossible with the tube seals in the way.

I can't say for sure if those are the guides, but I believe they are.
If they are, it's not bad that they are not installed. However, without them, it is much easier to damage the inner seal when you push the axle shaft in, as there is no guide to help line things up.

If you find you have bad inner seals, the differential has to come out to replace them.

Those are the things (I thought) were just flexi washers...I guess they're guides although they don't seem stout enough to give them that title I did not re-install them on my aftermarket axles. Just be VERY gentle when you re-install the axles and you shouldn't have a problem navigating into the inner seal. If you really want them in there just remove the outer tube seals and then reinstall everything. I'm not worried about mine.
