Default Hot Oil warning light

JK 2008 auto

Added an extra oil cooler upgraded the fan, changed the coolant reservoir. Still get the Hot oil warning light when pulling a grade.

The jeep dealer is about as much use as a chocolate wrench! They have no idea!

Any ideas?

Thanks

2008 should still be under warranty if you are the 1st owner.

Take it back to Jeep.

double check the oil flow for the cooler install. post more details about your cooler and how you installed it.

do you have a temp gauge for the tranny? (maybe the hot oil light is too sensitive???)

do you turn off the od on the grade?
