Default SuperChips Speedo Problem

I have a superchip that I have had absolutle no problems with until now. It will on program the speedo. It used to work fine then I let a friend test it before he ordered. Now I can install programing and it stays it installs the tire size but the speedo does not change. At 70 it is off 5 mph.

What size tire to put it on for a 35 km2 and what do you think is the problem. I will have time to tinker tommarrow but not today just looking for ideas before I call them.

i'm pretty sure the flashpaq's are vin locked. you need to return your buddies computer back to stock before you can re-use it on your jeep.

I am aware of this.....It is my tuner and it was returned to stock what I am saying is sc says the programming is installed on my jeep and will program on my jeep but the speedo is still wrong. I am thinking it may have a glich with the update I just did before I put it back on my jeep.

Have you actually measured the height of your tires with the proper psi and on a level ground? My 35" MT/R kevlars actually measure out at 34.25" with 26 psi, on the ground...

Dont know what you entered to begin with, but re-measure to be sure. I've noticed that with mine, .25" difference in tire height equals about 1-2 mph change.

I have got the speedo right. I have 35 km2's which measure a little over 34 inchs to get the speedo right I had to set the superchip to 33.5. What is up with this what are other km2 owners setting the chip to. I know when I had my speedo correct before it was set to 34.5. Why such the difference now.

Tire wear? Tire Rotation? I believe the speedo gets its info from the front left tire.....

Don't measure the spare, measure a tire that is sitting on the ground. From the ground to the top of the tire and you should be good to go.

I did measure a tire on the jeep the front driver to be exact. The tires have not been rotated and I have had them less than 3k miles.
