I have the more and added it to make sure I did not rub with 35's. The kit is easy to install and I have no complaints. For pics look under trips and trail under my latest trip clayton.

You don't need any drop backets. I am running this on a 2dr and am very pleased with it.

Its easy to do no more then 1 hour. There are other companies that make black rubber ones so that they are so noticeable as the silver aluminum ones...I used daystar.

The body lift with the 2.5inch lift might make your tires look small though

The 2 most rearward bolts on the 08s are a different size than the rest of the bolts.

Also, the secret to removing the washers from the stock bolts involves a bench vise, a BFH (big friendly hammer), and a big crescent wrench to hold the bolt in place (instead of smashing your fingers with the BFH) while you whack the stock bolt end with the BFH.
Eh hmm, redneck way= vise grips and two 4x4 wood blocks and BFH, if you don't have vise grips, call the neighbor over, give him a couple shots and a few beers and he'll hold the bolt for ya.

i just put in the performance improvements 1" BL on my 4dr JKU this w/end. it wasn't an hour job, more like 2 1/2. mainly because i didn't have air tools or a hydraulic jack. i only had basic mechanics hand tools / stock jack and no helping hands (not that you need it for this mod) also the tailpipe of my MBRP relo exhaust kit blocked access to the drivers side most rear bolt. if i had any of the aformentioned i could've gotten it done quicker. this was also the first BL that i've ever done. it's pretty straight forward. just rememember to do 1 side at a time and take your time. i worked from front to back and did not encounter any issues other than some of the bolts for the body mounts being hard to remove. these bolts are freakin' long!

if you are just using basic hand tools like i did, do yourself a favour and instead of using a regular ratchet, grab your lug wrench and a 3" extension. once i realized this things went far smoother due to the added length it made removal / install of the body mount bolts CONSIDERABLY EASIER.

someone posted the difference between the 07's and 08's. mine's an 08 and the 2 rear most bolts are larger, however this kit provides both sizes. the one problem i ran in to is that all of the pucks had he same size hole. so i had to bore out a bit for the 2 rear most to provide for the larger bolt. alos note, if you have a manual like i do, you will need to trim the INNER SHIFT BOOT. If you don't, you won't be able to shift in to 2, 4, 6, R. there is a write up that WOL did on this. after i installed my 1" i had a mini heart attack as i found i couldn't shift in to the above mentioned gears. found WOL's post and seriously, in 5 minutes...life was good again. i am running the same set up that you have right now

2.5" lift
33"s

do my tires look smaller now? a little. not enough to boher me, but i am planning on 35"s anyways so i'll live with it the way it is now.

the gap the 1" creates is noticeable. there is a pipe for the rad that will now be clearly visible on the front end of your rig. i left mine but may opt for some high heat black paint just to mask it. if you still have the wheel well liners in, there will now be a gap between the frame and the bottom of the plastic, again it doesn't bother me enough to do anything about it.

it rides great and there isn't much more body roll with the added 1".

go for it, however a this stage with what we are running it is not truly necessary as i don't believe that the 33"s will ever fully stuff with this kit on. you WILL want 35"s after this!
