Lod bumper note, learn from my mistake
I had my mid width LoD bumper installed and it is great. Cost my a few bucks to get it installed though. I then resarched what winch to get. Took the winch to get installed and was told they had to remove the bumper to do it. So now my labor costs exceed the cost of the winch. The bumper is awesome and no complaints with LoD at all. Just thought I would post my dumb mistake so someone else might avaoid doing the same thing!
just a thought, i installed my lod shorty by my self in two hours.i installed the winch months after and i have a hoop the only thing i took of was the skid plate. i would ask for my money back they suck. that is why if you look around most jeepers will always lend a hand and a few beers are cheaper than the install price at a shop.
It took me 2.5 hours to remove stock bumper, fog lights and then install mid-width bumper. I am confused they had to remove the bumper to install your winch....BS. Bumper install then winch. The second company hosed you hard!
All you really needed to do to add your winch was remove the grill to make installing the winch easier and avoid scratching up your grill and easier to run the winch wires to the battery. Winch took me tops 1 hr to mount and wire up, roll out winch line and pull back in. You should check out JK projects for WOL's and other member's easy install write-ups. It will save you money as well get you to work and know your JK more.

Leave the labor costs to regears and such.
