Default ESP Not be a Problem After All

Hey, I just got off the phone with Full Traction to follow up on the extensive testing they've been doing on their two lifted Jeep JK Wranglers. And, although they did experience some issues with the ESP system earlier, it seems they were able to track down the problem to the steering wheel not being completely aligned/re-centered after the lift was installed. Apparently, the ESP was sensing the wheels moving at the same constant speed but was seeing the steering wheel in a turned position. In other words, the ESP was led to believe the vehicle was in a slide. Needless to say, once they re-centered the steering wheel, the problems they were encountering went away. They will continue to do more testing but as it stands, it looks like the ESP system will not be a problem with a lift or larger tires.

I'll be sure to keep you posted with any other details that I find.
