Question. Will a slightly larger tire give me a slight boost in mileage?
Stock 3.73 auto JKU X. I'm thinking that a larger tire would allows the rpm's to spin at a lower rpm, right? Thus, wouldn't that give me better mileage? But, a larger tire means less torque at the wheels, which hurt mileage, right?
Hmmm...
Just wondering what a slightly larger tire would do. Thoughts?

You are walking the line between engine load and rpm. lower rpm doesnt mean thats where the engine is most efficicent and may require more fuel to hold the same rpm. extra rotating mass doesnt help either.
