Check the Soft 8's at Summit Racing. They usually have very low pricing...

x2 on the soft 8's. They run less than $100 per wheel. Pro Comp series 7069's are also just a little over $100 per wheel. Both listed at those prices on quadratec. I haven't looked around for any other sites

Then, you can buy 35x12.50R15 tires for about $200 or less each.

For center caps, you can either go without, or you can buy any 3.3" diameter cap:

For lugnuts, you can reuse your stock lugs, or you can buy 1/2 -20 RH, 60 degree conical seat nuts:

Wow. Thanks for that info. I didn't realize that 15" tires were that much cheaper than 17".

Are there any drawbacks changing from 17" wheels to 15"?

I thought 16s were the smallest size you could fit on a jk because of the break caliper. I'm guessing now I was wrong. And is there an ideal rim size?

correct me if i am wrong. but smaller rims and lower tire pressure on trails makes you vulnerable to losing a bead, therefor, popping tiressssss

Default Procomp

I got a set of 5 Procomp 7069's in black this weekend for 650 total. 4th of July sale. I went with the 17's so I could run my stock BFG's until those wear out. I think they look a little better than 15's anyway. But I know you can get those in 15" for like 90-sumth'n $.

not trying to hijack, but would it be ok to run a 10" wheel with a 12.5" wide 35 just to keep from buying a new set of wheels when the time comes for 37's? i know it increases the likelihood of losing a bead when aired down but other than that are there any reasons why this shouldn't be done? i'm going with super cheap steelies but i would like to avoid buying two sets
