Default Sway bar disconnects.

So a while ago my neighbor gave me a set of these disconnects off of his YJ lift kit (he doesn't run sway bars):

I'm thinking that all I need to do to run them on my JK is to cut the center section down and drill a new hole in order to get the link length right. Then just bolt them up using grade 8 hardware. I'm wondering if anyone has used these before or has any advice!!!

Thanks

I don't see why you couldn't use them. Are they just a hollow tube with the rubber bushings attach? If they are just cut the tube to length and drill new hole and insert bushings! I would think you are good to go!

Thanks for the response. I figured it would be ok just thought I'd double check. Going to give it a go tonight. I'll post some pics when I'm done.

oh, you can use them an even if they're a bit on the tall side, you will be fine. however, they are a pain in the but to disconnect and reconnect.

They're way way to tall (like 12"), no problem to cut them and drill another hole though.

Pain to disconnect eh? Worse than stock non-Rubi? I guess I'll find out
