You will need to put it on in the front. It is going to pull to whatever side you put it on just because of the smaller diameter. You should be ok fo that small amount of time.

Letting the air out might help. I wouldn't go over 30mph on that setup. While your at the tire shop I'd get a 35 in spare. even if it's a cheap all terrain it would be better than not at all.

Do yourself a favour and upgrade your spare to a 35 once you get to the tire shop. There's a reason that most of us buy our tires five at a time.

X2 it's silly to run a smaller spare than what you have under your Jeep.

Take it easy Sport... it wasn't obvious in you OP you were driving without a spare and where borrowing one to get where you needed to go. I posted an opinion based on what you wrote. You would be surprised how many people run larger tires and use a smaller and cheaper tire as a spare. Now that's not silly... it's plain stupid.

May I ask what happened to the spare you should of had on your Jeep to begin with?? Curious minds want to know.

Happy trails....

It's all good, and all fixed.

The spare was at the garage getting a hole fixed. LOL

yes I was a little short but come on I now had 2 tires with holes, I think anyone would be a little short fused.

sorry I didn't give the whole story I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to blow my shi* up if I used a smaller tire.

A spare is there to get you to the tire store. As long as you put it on the front and in 2wd it is not "stupid" to have a cheaper/smaller spare. Otherwise they would not put those little pos donuts in the trunks of 90% of the cars they make. I personally like my spare to match the rest due to the Jeep being so high off the ground, and a small tire having the potential of creating a rollover, but you put your blinkers on and go slow. Just like if you were driving a car with a donut on it. It is not "stupid" however. It is "stupid" if you choose to go over 20-30mph and have one on there.
