Default front coils 1" spacer install

I had a great time yesterday helping a buddy buy a beautiful Rubicon from RubiTrucks in Boone, NC yeserday, with all kinds of goodies on it, and the fellow at the place sold me a set of 1" front coil spacers to relevel my 08 Sahara with a winch and heavy duty winch bumper.

What is the BEST way to R&R the spring and install the spacer? I have a so-so coil spring compressor and an airgun, plus plenty of jacks and jackstands.

Oh, the rubicon was nicely done with 2.5" lift, 35" tires, warn winch, top shelf front and rear bumpers, his 89 Land Cruiser with severe electrical problems is going to be SO jealous.

And now my wife wants RibiTrucks to build her a blue Rubicon two door, with the Sahara as my "winter beater".

no need to use spring compressors. check out the write-up below as it covers how best to remove coils and how to install them as well on a 2.5" budget boost - essentially the same thing you are wanting to do.

Has anyone tried this:

Disconnect the Rubicon sway bar to get more droop? Instead of removing the bolts?

I'm just lazy and any step I can avoid saves me some day light.

I just tried to see if I could install these with coil compressors and not disconnecting anything.. unsuccessful. I feel like the track bar was limiting droop because everything else looked like it still had room.
