Default Weld-on Rock Slidders????

So I have a somewhat local shop that does custom rock slidders ($200-$250). Only thing is they are weld-on instead of bolt-on. They weld them to the frame as part of the cost. They're going on a 4dr Sahara.

What are you opinions? Custom weld-on or pre-fabbed bolt-on.

Thanks!

nothing wrong with weld on so long as they are made well and you know you'll want to keep them for the long haul. of course, if you change your mind in the future, you could always have them cut off.

I welded on my LoD sliders. It seemed to be a lot easier than bolting them on. But, maybe I'm just lazy.

I own the jeep, so no problems with leasing b.s. I have no idea how long I'll keep it. I usually go through vehicles every 2-3 years, but the jeep isn't like the rest of the vehicles I have owned. I'll probably keep it for 10+ years.

(I haven't been able to load pictures yet so here is the link to their website)

Thanks for everyone's input. I have not posted a whole lot, but that doesn't mean that I haven't stole many of your ideas and followed your advice.
