Default Chrome Mirror Covers ???

I know I will be ridiculed for asking about these things .... but has anyone tried them ? If so what brand? Were they a good fit ?

A set of Mopar ones came on my JK when I bought it... They were a bi%ch to get off, and they fit nicely when they were on there. Chrome is just not my style.

can I ask you how you got them off?

to the OP, save your money, mine were installed at the dealer and came with it when I bought it, a year later they're all wrinkled and look like crap.

I sprayed a bunch of goo-gone between the cover and mirror and let it sit in the sun for about an hour. Then went back and pried them off with a flat-head screw driver.

To re-apply them all you would need is some new double sided tape

I see a lot of guys really lay into the chrome and guys who like the look of it. Personally, I'm not nuts about it on the JK. However, I've seen it on TJ's, YJ's, and some CJ's and thought it looked great. Most of those are Jeeps that obviously get wheeled hard.
