Just received my Rugged Ridge Trail Bag today. This is the bag that attaches to the roll bars and rests next to the back seat/rear window (if you have your top on that is).

Mine was black in color and has the R/R logo on a small tag. It didn't seem like it was big enough for my purposes at first. I bought this to either A: hold some of my road/trail survival gear and or B: hold my backpacking tent and sleeping bag.

I ordered two bags, but was shorted one, and Quadratec is taking care of that for me.

So far, it will hold 1 "REI Half Dome 2" backpacking tent (which is in a stuff sack), and separately, it will hold 1 Northface rectangular sleeping bag. It is too small to hold both together. and I had to compress the sleeping bag even more and gently "force" it into the Trail Bag to zip it shut. The trail bag also feels durable (made of canvas). First impressions now are that it will do what I need it to do.

In my research, I didn't see anything about a bag that attaches vertically to the rear roll bar for the JK. If anyone knows about that kind of trail bag for the JK, please let me know.

It has one large zipper with two sliders so that you can open it from either end.
