Want to remove fuel line on engine.
I recently upgraded the SC on my JK. During the installation the hard fuel line that runs on the right side of the engine is split and removed leaving the two metal ends in place and then just adding a T of flexible fuel line to feed the aux injectors. The injectors are eliminated in the upgrade so I thought I could just remove the two metal ends and replace with original part 52126097AC. Problem is that those ends have what amounts to a chinese finger trap in them to hold them in place (you can push them on but you can't pull them off. I know this is a long shot but anyone have any suggestions??
Quick answer to my own question so if any other non mechanic types run into this they have an easy answer. The fuel line uses quick disconnects on either end. A fuel line disconnect tool available from about any auto parts store makes it a 30 second job to remove the connector without damaging the line.
