Placed my order to get a lift
I called David at Northridge today and ordered parts for a lift for 35" tires for my 2010 Rubicon.
I went with....
- AEV Nth Degree 3.5" lift kit
- AEV Pintler Argent wheels
- Yukon 4.88 gears
I plan on mounting Toyo Open Country MT 35" tires on this setup as I will mainly use my Jeep for beach driving and in muddy conditions at the ranch.
I eventually plan on getting the AEV Premium front bumper and possibly the rear bumper.
I never dreamed it would be this costly to lift a Jeep....but I've heard from many sources that it is well worth the cost. By the time that I am done with all of the mods....I will have close to 10K in the upgrades.
Am I totally NUTZ??

I absolutely LOVE the outcome!
Since I picked up my Jeep after the changes, we have had flooding rains and I drove around in the rain all weekend with no problems. The Toyo open countries grip very well and the ride is very smooth. The AEV 3.5 inch Premium lift meets all expectations......I never thought that it was going to be this nice.
I hope to get to go down the beach next weekend.....I'll keep you posted
