Make Stock 4dr rails for 2dr? Worth

Is it worth it to modify the stock rubicon rock rails for a 4 door to make them small enough for a 2 door? How difficult is it to relocate that mount? Anyone done it before? Or is this idea retarded?

Cool thanks for that, pops is selling his and I was wondering if there was any value for me just to keep them And try to work with it, but thanks for advising otherwise
