Default Quetion on lift......

Just installed Daystar 1.75", Pro Comp 7189 16X8s, BFG 285s. Everything seems good except a couple times in a slight turn at 30 to 40 MPH it feels like something is rubbing the tire up front. It only last for a second and has only happened twice. Re checked bolts and lugs after about 25 miles. Any ideas?

It may be the electronic stability program. Did you recenter your steering wheel after the lift? It only takes a little bit for the jeep to think it is not steering correctly for it to make adjustments.

No I did not recenter the wheel. I didn't know anything about doing that. Any threads on here about doing it?

I am sure its your ESP... i had the same issues when I first put my lift on last year....

Here is an alignment thread... recentering your wheel is very easy.

Q: How do I recenter my steering wheel?
A: To re-center your steering wheel, use a 15mm wrench to loosen the 2 nuts on the turnbuckle on your drag link as shown in the pic below. Then, rotate the turnbuckle clockwise or counter clockwise as needed while a friend watches the steering wheel (or you periodically check on it yourself) go back to center. Once re-centered, secure the nuts and take it for a drive to check your steering wheel. This may take a few tries to get it on 100% but that’s all there is to it.

Followed the directions and it only took maybe a quarter turn. Wheel is straight although it wasn't off much. Is this about the norm?
Will drive later or tommorrow. Thanks for the help

It doesn't always take much. The more lift the more adjustment is needed. When you are driving you may notice that it need another tweak. This is sometimes normal.
If the wheel is not centered then the jeep thinks it's turning even if it is not.
