D rings
Just installed a benchmark elite stubby front bumper and am totally satisfied with the product and the simplicity of install. I have d ring mounts on the bumper that have 1" holes, but cannot find anyone who shows a d ring larger than 3/4". Anyone know where to purchase some that will not have so much slop in the mounting hole?
use rubber grommets to take up the space or ballcock washers ( in the plumbing section about a dollar each) from lowes or the home depot around the D ring and it wont slide or move all over the place.
Tractor supply stores (watch the rating though, some are not as high as industrial quality shackles),
online 4wd shops,

they have 1" pin shackles available but they WONT fit most d-ring mounts with 1" holes as the coating/galvanizing etc. makes the pin larger than 1". A pin diameter of 7/8" with some rubber washers would be your best bet IMO so as to not have to modify anything. Or leave the shackles in your toolbox and only put them on when actually needed, then they wont make a racket, get lost, or stolen.

google "Crosby" they make quality shackles, sometimes its misleading how they are sold, if they say its a 3/4 shackle it may have a 7/8 pin dia, and 3/4 pin dia shackle would usually be listed as a 5/8 shackle, I think it has to do with the dia of the shackle ....not sure...got to there site lots of info......they make shackles that are sorta square instead of rounded for flat straps.....they make good stuff.....
