Default 600 mile road trip, I need positve caster.

The plan was to eventually get adjustable control arms after my lift and tires as $$ came available. But after spending 600 miles at highway speeds of 50-80 my knuckles and wrists are literally sore from holding the wheel straight. So on a budget , but not willing to skimp... Which control arm set is a good replacement? And can I do a pair at a time? Say front lowers first, rear uppers later, and so on. And which order would be best to do in "stages"?

There are a bunch of good control arms. Currie, Teraflex, Full Traction, JKS and a bunch of others. And yes, you can start with the front uppers and work your way around if you want.

No profile. How much lift do you have?

<3 inches, you can get away with front uppers. (less expensive than lowers, but do not have the range of adjustability of lowers. Good for smaller lifts)

>3 inches, you are better off starting with the lowers.

Then add the rear uppers.

You will also want to crawl underneath and take a look at your driveshafts. If either is already spitting grease, you will want to start with the control arms for that end to go with the new driveshaft...

I'm awaiting a set of Teraflex front lowers. I'm doing a 1,000 plus mile roadtrip in Jan and need caster BADLY!
