Default Hood Buffeting help

So I lifted and leveled my JK. Now everytime I hit 70mph my hood looks like its going to come off. Does anyone else have this problem and does anyone have a way to fix it? I thought a heat reduction hood might do the trick but that is pretty pricey.

Try getting some weather stripping type material and putting in between the hood and grill in the gap their so wind can't get in to lift up the hood.

I am currently having the same problem right now after lifting. there are alot of threads on this and i have read of many things to do. 1)Remove hood spring(removed it but have not tested yet) 2) zipties or velcro around rubber links 3) drake hood latches 4) what im going to do is buy some rod ends like others have done and modify the latches myself.

Mine does this. It happens because the grill acts like a whales mouth. From this point it can go around the motor and go up or down. Doesn't happen all the time but enough to notice. It doesn't bother me much that's why they invented volume

Get the Drake JP- 190001-K Hood hold downs about $130 They look and work great and will never need replacing. Daystars are junk IMO had them and through them out.

I took out my hood spring, totally eliminated my flutter. Free AND effective.
