Default I have a question on getting bigger tires

I have a stock 2010 sport wrangler im getting 17inch rims. I want to know whats the biggest tire i can put on it without modifications to it. Any help would be great I'm just getting to many different opinions on this and will be to much of a pain to get it wrong.

I wanna say I had 285/70-17's BFG All Terrains on my 4 door before the upgrades. Equated out to like a 32-33 inch tire. Only mild rubbing at full turn.
