Default Just relocated my mirrors...

Sorry no pics yet, but I have a question. It came with these little plastic fillers that fit in between inside the new bracket and old mirrors...The instruction said after 2008 they changed the dimensions slightly. I had a hell of a time trying to fit the mirror in with the filler. I ended up putting it in without it. Has anyone else used these?

Love them. And no vibration.

I didn't use the fillers when I used those relocation brackets on mine - it was a snug fit without 'em. Those are just provided for those model years where you'll need the filler/shim to get it snugged up.

Those are nice, but a tad too pricey. I went the cheap route and got a set of CIPA/RR CJ-style mirrors for about $12/each with FREE shipping. They vibrate a little and whistle - but then again, so does my whole Jeep

Yes, I have those. I could not get the mirror to seat all the way down into the bracket. But it seemed too loose with out those plastic shims. I hate the view of the right mirror in the new bracket with the doors on. I left the stock mirror mounts on the doors and leave the mirrors on the doors when the doors are on the jeep. When I take the doors off of the jeep, then I move the mirrors to the new mounts.

Be carefull to not to overtighten and strip the bolts.
