Default rubi rock sliders strength

I want to modify my rubi rock sliders into a step.
Does anybody know if they are bolted onto the jeep
strong enough to hold body weight?

Thanks for the help

They use the same bolt holes to the frame that the Sahara steps us. The Sahara steps also attached to the pinch weld seem whereas the Rubi sliders do not appear to.

I would think you will be fine . There are a lot ot nuts & bolts that hold it on.

I have the enhanced mopar rock rails which are just the rubi rock rails with a metal tube for more protection. They are held on by two bolts that attach to the underside of the body and 4 small bolts that bolt through the pinch seam. I have stood on my rock rails on several occaisons and they seem stong.

Default rubi rails

yeah, i've parked them on top of rocks at Superlift... they're strong enough alright. Jeep swag makes a DIY weld on kit.

You can also jack up your jeep with rails welded to the rubi sliders.

Poison Spyder also make a kit to weld on to the stock rubi sliders. RICOs I think.

Stock Rubi rock rails do connect to the pinch seam as well as the frame. When I removed mine there were prob. 12 nuts and bolts on each one. Pretty easy to remove though.
