I went with 285/70/17 KM2 (32.8X11.2), they are fine, no rubbing exept all full turn, they rub a little on the sway bar
To get rid of rubbing, add wheelspacers or add washers to your steering stop

My KM2's are advertised as 33 1/3, but mounted on the stock Moab rims at 30 psi, they are 32 inches. I had no rubbing anywhere at any time, but then again, they are the same width as the stock KM. The only thing I did not like about the 255/80R17 was that it is an E rated tire. It was OK with the stock suspension, but now with stiffer springs and shocks.......not as good. Still awesome off road when aired down, though.
I'm running 33x12.50 on my JKU with a 2.5" lift and 1.5in wheel spacers and everything has been working out great on my stock 17" rims I would recommend some type of budget boost for 33s unless you won't do much wheeling, you will get some rub at full articulation, personally I don't like that some people don't mind it. No matter what I say for sure get wheel spacers the wheels line up with the fender perfectly and it looks way better than having your rims tucked in under the fender.

Plenty of people are running 35x12.5x17's on their stock 7.5" wheels with no problems at all. Just make sure that you've got spacers in there to correct the backspacing.
