Default Ok I need to know! (tire question)

Would 32/11.50/15s BFG AT KOs work on the 15x8 black MB72 rims with no lift? And do ya'll think that would give me the best look?? I don't want a lift right now but want the largest tire I can get on the 15s with no (nada, 0, zip!) rubbing. Been doing a TON of searching but still can't figure out if this is the tire size I need to go with. Tirerack.com says it will work on a 8-10" width rim so I'm thinking it would work on the rims.....but what about any rubbing? Again, I want NO rubbing. ha

Thanks!!!

The stock tire (at least for me) is 255/75-17 which has a width of 10 inches. The stock rim backspacing is 6.25 inches and the stock rim is 7.5 inches wide. That makes the distance from the inside of the tire to the front of the rotor 7.5 inches (Backspacing + ((tire width - rim width)/2))

Your desired tire has a width of 11.5 inches. By my calculations, if your new rims have a 5.75 inch backspacing or less, you should be fine.
(7.5 - ((11.5 - 8)/2) = 5.75)

Thanks TX. The rim I'm looking at has 3.75 of BS so I should be good I guess. Will the tires mentioned above give me a good look you think? Should have a good amount of side wall so that will look nice I would think. Just not completely sure. Sure would love a picture of this setup from someone.

I dont run it but i believe the tire will stick out from the fenders quite a bit with that bs. That and 15s are really close to the calipersand i recentlyread about people getting rocks stuck in there and what not. A little more research and you should be able to get what you want. this forum has a vast amount of knowledge and that is why i constantly read threads.

This is also no lift, just 4dr coils and no rubbing anywhere. Tomorrow morning I can measure my backspacing. Here's an idea of how much tire hangs out...
That is exactly what I'm looking for! Thanks! Can you by chance post a side picture of your ride too? And what size tires? 31/10.5 or 11.5 or what? THANKS a ton man!

I can get 32/11.50s on the 15x8 thou can't I?

Ok I thought so. Thanks for the info and other pics. Can't wait to see them!

edit: I have put a 12.5" on a 6" rim, they wore reallllllly bad. The 12.5's on 7's wasn't a grand idea either.
So will the 11.5s wear bad with the 8" rim? This is my dd so...
