Question 5.13's 33's & automatic

Just curious if anyone is running this setup, and how they like it.

Not exactly, but I ran 5.38s with stock 32s for 6 months or so. It was far better than stock, actually felt like it had power. Gas mileage did not decrease as long as I didn't go to far over the speed limit. I was able to run overdrive alot more than with the 4.10s.

I run 33's with auto and 4:10's and have no issues whatsoever. Decent gas mileage, good handling, and great ride.

I bet it would be awesome! 5.13's with my 35's is great, but I feel would be even better with 33's. Just wish I had a Rubi so I could have gotten 5.38s.

I have this same set up and my drive is great except when I get on the interstate and drive 70-75. on normal streets and offroad it's great.

Same set up but mine is good at 70-75mph... it sucks at the 50-60 area and causes driveline vibrations from being at 1,500 rpm.

The only downside is OD Off towing.

nice being able to post on gearing threads now! I got 35's with 5.13s and its great, peppy around town and now able to keep speed up in OD on the highway. I would guess it would be even better with 33's, reason to go to 35s!!

At the moment I'm running 295/70/17 Nitto Trail Grapplers, but I may end up going to 35's after I wear these tires out. I just ordered the 5.13 Yukon gears and Riddler diff covers from Dave at Northridge.

What gears are you running right now? Got 4.10, trying to decide between 285 and 295.
