Default Pieced together lift advice (33’s)

Question: Without buying a complete kit (already put together from a dealer/manufacture) what suspension mods do I need to get to gain max performance out of the stock components (most flex)?
I’m running 33x12.50 with no issues on the highway or dirt roads. 15 in rims…. NO issues.
Example of what advice I’m looking for: 1.5 in spacer up front, 2 in spacer back. Sway bar disconnects. Looking to sit level.
Basically looking for the smallest components needed for the 33’s to have no issues. I’ve been reading on this forum for a long time. I’ve been trying to find the answers. Is calling Dave the best bet? Thank you all in advance for your help. This forum has been a pleasure to be a part of.

If you are specifically looking just for height... you can just change your springs. This is easier to do with a 2 door than a 4 door. look on here for people who are getting new lifts and changing out their springs. they will either give them to you for free.. or sell them dirt cheap. problem with this is you will then end up bottoming out your shocks and limiting your flex.

With my jeep specifically.. i didnt have a huge budget to start with but i wanted something NOW. I ended up buying a BB with shocks. that gave me 2.5" of additional height. then I added JKU Sahara springs which then gave me another inch and the after market shocks I bought allowed for more flex. however.. I was having rubbing issues from my 33" tires when I would disconnect my sway bar while off roading. I then added a 1.25" body lift and that issue was fixed. I now have a jeep that has a netted 4.75" lift with 33's that fit perfectly and i didnt have to trim my fenders or purchase flat. now.. once you get to this height.. there are other issues you run into.. but you dont have to deal with immediately. eventually.. you will need to replace your drive shafts anyways.. but to prolong that.. get front front lower adjustable control arms to adjust your caster and it will extend the life of your drive shaft. hope this helps.

use this formula
2"=33
3.5=35's
6"=37's

I wouldn't go by that formula. With 2.5" of lift I would rub when disconnected. I now have about 4.5" of combined lift with 33s and it looks perfect. I don't have flat fenders though.

to each their own....but no rubbing with proper bump stops

I just think it makes the tires look too small

Could just go with the Teraflex leveling kit, which will give you 2" up front and 1" in the rear. The spacer version can be had for around $120.

I like this suggestion the best for what I'm trying to do. If I get the disconnects will I need any other mods for the extra drop? Will the springs come out? I'm being told that if I dont get the lift in the springs that they will soon sag...couldn't I just get some more stock spriings for cheap once the sag starts? With the above quote should I also get shock extensions?
